As a woman called 911 to report a fire at a home in Hubbard, her father tried to alert the neighbors inside. The call came in just after 12:30 am Tuesday from Moore Street. The caller told a dispatcher that flames were spreading through the home and her dad was knocking on the door of the burning house. The 911 caller also shot video of the burning home, that also showed what appeared to be a power line sparking in the driveway as a pickup truck drove over it trying to escape the flames. When fire crews from Hubbard, Liberty, and Brookfield arrived, smoke and flames could be seen leaping from the roof of a home. We're told everyone did get out safely, but damage to the home is extensive. The American Red Cross was contacted to make sure the residents have shelter, clothing and other necessities.
