The Village of Crestline now has two more part-time firefighters after Crestline Village Council approved Mayor Joy Miley’s appointments during the regular meeting Monday evening. Samuel D. Edwards and full-time police officer Richard Liptak will work as firefighters and both have certifications to provide emergency medical services to residents also. “I look forward to serving the residents of Crestline,” Edwards said while Liptak assured council he will be able to fulfill both his roles as firefighter and police officer. Also during the meeting, village Administrator John Rostash said things are moving along with several ongoing projects in the village.
