The State Fire Marshal is looking for the cause of a fire that damaged two homes in Brookfield. A fire broke out on the porch of a home on the 8200 block of Roberts Street just before 11 pm Monday and then spread to a neighboring home. A second alarm went out for assistance from Sharon, Hubbard, and Vienna firefighters. People living in the homes were evacuated. There have been no reports of injuries.
