A man was taken to a Dayton hospital after suffering serious burn injuries near a gas station on West Third Street Friday morning. Firefighters were initially dispatched on reports of a small grass fire near the intersection of West Third Street and North James H. McGee Boulevard around 6:45 a.m. Medics were requested shortly after firefighters arrived on scene when they located a man who was burned. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment but investigators did not release his condition. Employees at the All in One convenience store said the victim was in the store shortly before the fire and bought a gallon of gas at the fuel pumps.
