Crews from four fire departments were called out early Thursday to battle a house fire in Elkrun Township. A woman called 911 shortly before 3 a.m. to report that her home on the 6600 block of Lusk Lock Road was filled with smoke. Called in as a chimney fire, Rogers, Negley, West Point, and Lisbon fire departments were dispatched to the address. Firefighters say the fire had spread inside a wall of the two-story wood-frame home. There have been no reports of any injuries. The fire is still being investigated.
