Over the past week Parma Fire Chief Michael Lasky said he’s overwhelmed by the public’s benevolence during the coronavirus pandemic. In lieu of social distancing keeping everyone apart, Parma Fire Chief Michael Lasky is impressed how the business community and residents are coming together to support first responders. “It started last week with Perry Stancato reaching out as to how he could support the fire department,” Lasky said. “I told him we just need social distancing from everybody in the community. “He took it one step further and brought food for more than 60 people working at the fire station, police station and dispatch center.” Following suit feeding an entire Parma Fire Department shift of 23 employees was Mission BBQ. The donations didn’t stop there with Parma Senior High School and Padua High School stepping up.
