Three residents of an apartment building in Boardman were forced to evacuate when a fire broke out early Wednesday. A woman called 9-1-1 at around 5 a.m. to report that smoke was filling her apartment on the 200 block of Santa Fe Trail behind the Boardman Plaza. First firefighters on the scene reported smoke coming from the building, believing that the source may have been an electrical fire. The flames were quickly put out and crews set up fans to remove smoke from the apartment. There have been no reports of injuries.
