A driver is in custody after leading troopers on a high-speed chase that ended in a fiery crash.
The chase took place around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10.
Officials said troopers attempted to stop a pick-up truck for driving recklessly on State Route 2 in Elyria Township, but the driver refused to stop.

As troopers pursued the vehicle onto Interstate 90, they learned the truck had just been reported stolen from a gas station in Vermilion.
When the suspect tried to exit I-90 at State Route 611, officials say the driver lost control and went off the right side of the roadway. The truck flipped and then caught fire.
