Chiloquin Fire & Rescue recently held its 2018 Awards Banquet.
Attendees included members of the volunteers, spouses, community, and CF&R board members president Dave Burnett, vice president Kevin Moore, Curtis Hoopes, Norm Fowler, and Klamath County Sheriff Chris Kaber.
CF&R completed the year with 815 calls, 431 transports, 96 motor vehicle accidents, 15 structure fires, eight vehicle fires, and 13 brush fires (protecting 52 total acres). Over 3,000 hours of training and assisting on numerous conflagrations, including assisting during the California fires. A special thank you was given to the volunteer spouses for their support throughout the year and Klamath County Fire District No. 4 and Keno Fire Department for providing coverage during the banquet.
