PHOTOS: Emergency crews helped rescue a puppy Tuesday after she ended up getting her head stuck inside a dryer vent at a Dallas home, Dallas Fire & EMS said. The 11-week-old German Shepherd puppy, named Shamia, was trying to get back into her house when she ended up stuck inside the dryer vent. Her humans tried to get her out before calling Dallas Fire & EMS for backup. “Puppies are generally curious by nature and sometimes they can get themselves into precarious predicaments,” fire officials said of the incident. After several minutes, they managed to free Shamia’s head from the vent. They said she had a few minor scrapes, but was “super happy to be unstuck.”
