VIDEO/PHOTOS: Just before 2 a.m. Monday, firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire on Dodge Canyon Lane, located in the Sutherlin Fire Department's district west of town.
At the same time, firefighters from Oakland, Fair Oaks, and Kellogg were called for mutual aid.
According to the Kellogg Rural Fire District, the first units on scene found a home nearly fully involved in flames. Defensive firefighting tactics were used to prevent the spread of the blaze.
Crews worked until sunrise and used 25,000-30,000 gallons of water to control the fire, Kellogg Fire said.
The cause is under investigation.
