Police are investigating an early-morning fire that displaced seven people in Dunmore. According to crews, the fire broke out just after midnight on Thursday in the 600 block of Mill Street. Everyone did make it out of the multi-unit building, but one person did suffer minor injuries. According to a press release from Pennsylvania State Police, the second-floor residents discovered heavy smoke in a bathroom. Investigators say the fire started in an attic space, which caused the roof to collapse near the rear of the building. The fire has been ruled accidental. The Red Cross was called in to help the seven people displaced. A state police fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
