One local fire company is celebrating 125 years of service!
The Mifflinburg Hose Company has been running to put fires out and help in emergency situations in their community decade after decade.
They are accomplishing a milestone, and for many families in the area, generations continue to belong to the fire company.
"We owe a lot of appreciation to our four fathers that set us up over the years. There are a lot of guys that still belong here that are in their 70’s and 80’s and we owe a lot to them,” said Chuck Klose, President of Mifflinburg Hose Company.
Going against the trend today, the Mifflinburg Hose Company remain busy, but have ton of help. They have nearly 130 members, and over 60 volunteers.
