Advertisement According to West Deer fire Chief Anthony Creaturo, the homeowner was starting a fire in the fireplace and called when the fire got out of control. The homeowner was able to get out, and no one was injured. Creaturo said the house collapsed in on itself and is a total loss. The chief was unable to find any evidence of alpacas at the scene. One firefighter was evaluated on scene for a medical issue, Creaturo said.
