Emergency crews responded to a fire at Kennywood Park Wednesday evening that has since been put out.
A photo provided to WTAE showed flames and smoke billowing out from the park earlier in the evening. A Pittsburgh's Action News 4 team on the scene saw firefighters, police and medics. There were no visible flames as of about 10:15 p.m.
Lynsey Winters, a spokesperson for Kennywood, said, "(A) small fire was reported on the roof of one of the buildings at the park this evening. Local fire departments responded immediately and the fire was quickly put out. There were no injuries."
She said that the building impacted sits beside the Parkside Cafe. It is unclear what the full impact to that building might be.
According to Winters, the park believes the fire was caused by lightning from Wednesday night's storms.
