VIDEOS/PHOTOS: A fire that broke out in Albany Township, Berks County on Sunday afternoon is under investigation. "We got dispatched for a structure fire," said Kempton Fire Company Lt. Owen King. "Unfortunately, it was multi-structure when we got there," said King. The fire happened in the area of Route 737 and Turkey Road just before 4 p.m. "We were not able to save the large shop that was there or the apartments behind it," said King. King said he believes the owner was home at the time. There were tools and a music studio inside the shop, according to King.
"We were able to save the large residence and the storage shed as well that were both exposed to fire," said King. Smoke could be seen from miles away. Roads in the area were temporarily closed.
