A fire forced out 125 guests at a Cumberland County hotel early Wednesday morning.
Firefighters responded to the Hampton Inn on Ritter Road in Lower Allen Township, near Mechanicsburg, around 2:45 a.m.
According to the fire chief, the fire was confined to one room on the third floor. Cumberland County officials say one guest was staying in the room at the time.
No one was injured, and everyone was able to evacuate the building safely.
The guests are being transferred to neighboring hotels. Firefighters assisted them in gathering all their belongings.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
