Three counties respond to Wyoming County fire

Firefighters from three counties were called to a fire in Wyoming County Thursday morning. Officials tell 28/22 News that firefighters from Wyoming, Bradford, and Susquehanna counties were called to a fire on Scrapyard Lane in Meshoppen Township. The call for a fully engulfed structure fire came in before 7:00 a.m. Thursday morning according to the Wyoming County Communications Center. A fire chief on the scene explained that the building was a storage facility for a nearby business. A 28/22 News photographer says an excavator is on the scene to assist with cleaning up the fire. The communications center said there was no reported entrapment or injuries.
