VIDEO/PHOTO: A fire tore through a home in Bucks County. No one was home at the time, but the family who lived there did lose several pets. Adam Weiss, the homeowner, says there were two cats and two turtles that did not make it out of this fire. But thankfully none of his family members were at the home when the fire started. The house is a total loss. The Palisades Regional Fire Department led the response that began around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday. Weiss says he was at work and got the call the front of his house was on fire. When he got there, it was fully engulfed, and he told me he just tried to save anything he could. He says the house is one of the oldest in Bucks County. "It was a log cabin from the 1700s. I was born and raised here, and we just built our whole family from here," Weiss said.
