VIDEO: A fire ripped through a Squirrel Hill apartment building Monday evening. Sky 4, Pittsburgh's only news chopper, was over the Murray Towers along the 2800 block of Murray Avenue. The side of the building was charred by the flames. Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire said the fire began around 4:45 p.m., starting in the bedroom of a sixth-floor apartment. By 5:30 p.m., it appeared that the fire was out. Residents inside were evacuated while crews worked to get the fire under control. Firefighters had to vent the building before residents could return. No one was injured, according to officials. There is no word yet on what might have caused the fire.
