VIDEO: Crews worked to control a fire at a commercial building in Lawrence County, where thick, black smoke billowed from the area.
A video sent to WKBN shows the flames and heavy thick smoke while firefighters fought to bring the fire under control Tuesday afternoon.
It happened at North Beaver Contracting on Edinburg Road in North Beaver Township, with the initial call coming out around 2:40 p.m. About 18 fire departments responded to help, and the fire was under control within an hour.
No one was hurt, but the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The building was destroyed. According to the company’s website, the business is a general excavation contractor that specializes in underground utilities
