A woman is dead after an overnight fire at a Perry County home.
According to officials, crews were dispatched around 12:30 a.m. Monday to the residence on the 200 block of Railroad Street, and firefighters were on scene until about 4 a.m.
State police announced Monday that the fire killed a 63-year-old woman. Her name has not yet been released.
The woman was the only person home at the time of the fire, according to fire officials. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and the State Police Fire Marshal is investigating.
