VIDEO: A firefighter was injured after a fire broke out and spread to multiple rowhomes in Allentown Tuesday night.
The fire broke out around 3:30 p.m. along 7th St. near the intersection with Tilghman St. in the heart of the Queen City.
The Allentown Assistant Fire Chief says four homes were damaged. He did not say what the firefighter's condition was, or the nature of the firefighter's injuries.
Firefighters were up on the roof of the rowhomes battling flames and smoke as they shot out of the third-story window, including an air conditioning unit that burst into flames. Across the street we met Josh Garcia and his cat Lana watching his house burn. “I've never been through this in my life, ever. I've never seen a fire somewhere where I live," said Garcia.
