House demolished, 2 people displaced after fire in York County

VIDEO: Firefighters battled a fire at a manufactured home in York County Wednesday morning. Crews responded to the 500 block of South Kralltown Road between Pine Woods Road and Myers Road in Washington Township at 8:15 a.m. The fire started in the basement and burned through the first floor of the home, according to the fire chief. There was a significant presence of fire crews at the scene. The fire went to two alarms before crews were able to get the fire under control. Two people, husband and wife, were displaced after living there for about 35 years. No one was injured, and everyone was able to evacuate the structure safely. The home is being demolished because of its unsafe structure. At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown.
