Crews from Tiverton and Fall River were called to a fire at a construction company Thursday evening. Firefighters responded to Aquidneck Drive at about 5:45 p.m., where they were met with heavy smoke and flames. Acting Fire Chief Bruce Reimels said it took them roughly 45 minutes to knockdown the fire. No injuries were reported but Reimels said heat played a factor in battling the blaze. Reimels said the inside of the building, along with some equipment, were heavily damaged. The fire is under investigation.
