One person was hospitalized following a rollover Monday morning.
The person’s injuries were serious but not life-threatening, Tiverton Fire Captain Andrew Kettle told The Daily News.
According to a Facebook post by the Tiverton Fire Department, firefighters and members of the police department responded to the area of Stafford Road at Old Stafford about 10:30 a.m. for a reported vehicle rollover.
Crews arrived to find one person stuck in the vehicle and used the jaws of life to gain access to the person, who was then transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
The Tiverton Fire Department dispatched two engine vehicles and two rescue wagons; no mutual aid was required, Kettle said. The cause of the crash is under investigation by Tiverton police, he added.
