Crews battled a fire in the garage of an oil delivery business in Providence Saturday morning. Firefighters responded to 667 Douglas Avenue for a report of smoke coming from inside the building around 1 a.m. When crews arrived on the scene, they said they saw fire inside the building coming from a vehicle. According to Providence Fire Battalion Chief Kevin Jutras, the fire was knocked down in almost 40 minutes. The building suffered moderate fire damage and heavy smoke damage, Jutras said.
