A fire broke out on Prudence Island Wednesday afternoon. The fire chief told NBC 10 News the flames damaged a home and destroyed two sheds, spreading into a three acre brush fire. Fire officials said the fire fight was "labor intensive." It took them nearly three hours to get the brush fire under control. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
