Quick-thinking neighbors reported a porch fire that ended up spreading at a home in Cumberland Monday morning. The Cumberland Fire Department responded around 6:30 a.m. to a home on Camp Street. All residents were able to escape the home without injury. The department says the fire spread throughout the home and it reached the level of two alarm. It also caused some downed wires around the home, and National Grid had to be called in to assist the response. The department believes the fire started near the corner of the home. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
