The Warwick Fire Department shared that they responded to a house fire on Monday night, and again Tuesday morning. WFD responded to a fire on Brentwood Avenue around 8:15 p.m. Monday night. They shared that the house sustained damages and left its residents displaced. Officials were called back again Tuesday morning for smoke coming from the same house. It was determined that the solar panels caused a secondary fire as a result of the compromised electrical components from the original fire. Rhode Island Energy was also called to the scene to assist with de-energizing the electrical system.
