No injuries were reported after a fire on the rooftop patio at the Old Lumber Company restaurant early Thursday. Vermillion Police say that on Thursday, October 13th, at 12:34 a.m., they and the Vermillion Fire EMS Department were called to a fire at the Old Lumber Company Grill and Bar on Court St. Fire and EMS units arrived on the scene and extinguished a small fire on the rooftop patio. All patrons and employees were safely evacuated. Investigation revealed the fire originated in a propane fire pit and the building sustained minor damage. No one was injured during this incident.
