The Memphis Fire Department said Tuesday the fire at the Pepper Tree Apartments was "intentionally set" on the patio of one of the apartments. They said one woman severely injured her leg jumping to safety from the second floor. She was taken to Regional One. Ten apartments sustained fire, smoke, and water damage. The fire caused about $500,000 damage total. Anyone with information on the fire is asked to call Crime Stoppers or the State Arson Hotline.
