VIDEO: What started as a fire in the backyard quickly spread and hit a propane tank at a Mt. Juliet home on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Mt. Juliet Fire Department. MJFD said the fire started in the backyard at about 2:30 p.m.. It’s unknown what sparked the flames. It quickly spread and hit a propane tank. Neighbors told WSMV4 they heard a large explosion and called 911. Firefighters said the fire spread to the attic and the rest of the house. A small portion of a nearby neighbor’s house received some damage. No one was home at the time of the fire. No injuries have been reported.
