Emergency crews in Sevier County have contained a structure fire that broke out late Tuesday and prompted the evacuation of some nearby residents. Firefighters responded to a blaze on Bluff Heights Road that impacted one structure around 11 p.m. Just after midnight, the Sevier County Emergency Management Agency confirmed that the fire had been contained and that other nearby structures were unaffected. A Sevier County spokesperson said in the initial announcement that residents in the immediate area were being evacuated and others nearby should prepare for evacuation if requested by emergency personnel. It was not immediately clear how many people were impacted.
