PHOTOS: Fire broke out inside a mobile home in Orondo Friday afternoon, gutting the residence and totaling one vehicle as well.
Douglas County Fire Marshal Kurt Blanchard tells iFIBER ONE News the blaze was reported around 2:20 p.m. in the Sun Cover subdivision to the north of town. Blanchard said the blaze was toned out at a two-alarm status and the resulting response was massive as a result. Crews from Douglas County Fire District No. 2, as well as Chelan County Fire District Nos. 1 and 7, and the Orondo Fire Department all attended to the fire.
Blanchard said the blaze ignited on the backside of the home and rapidly spread to the rest of the structure, totally destroying it and an SUV which was parked in the driveway as well.
