Two kids were on a Spokane Public Schools bus involved in a crash Wednesday morning on the upper South Hill. The collision was reported at about 9 a.m. at 57th Avenue and Hatch Road, according to a post on Spokane County Fire District 8’s Facebook page. A car headed south on Hatch appeared to have pulled out in front of the school bus headed west on Hatch at the intersection’s stop sign near St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. The incident was deemed “very minor” and non-injury by Fire District 8. The scene was cleared within an hour. KHQ News reported two children on the bus had minor scrapes and bruises, but no major injuries. KHQ said the driver of the car was cited for failure to yield.
