Five people are displaced after a fire at a Yakima home on South 15th Street.
16 firefighters from the Yakima Fire Department responded to the emergency on Sunday evening at about 6:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters found fire under the home's floor, in the attic, and in the living room.
Two people were inside at the time of the fire, but were able to escape.
Firefighters think that the fire started due to overheated electrical circuits.
The fire caused an estimated $43,000 in damages, which is the entire value of the property.
The five people who lived in the home are receiving assistance from the Red Cross.
