A fire destroyed a home in Wapato on Monday night.
Yakima County Fire District 5 was called out to the scene just before 9 p.m., and when they got there, they say half of the home was already on fire, and the roof was falling in.
No one was home at the time of the fire, and there were no injuries reported.
The fire district says the family is getting help from the Yakima Chapter of the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
