Port Angeles man arrested in arson probe of fire

A 50-year-old Port Angeles man was arrested Sunday night for investigation of first-degree arson. John H. Hann, age 50, has his first appearance today at 1 p.m. in Clallam County Superior Court. Hann was apprehended during an investigation of a fire that Port Angeles police said was deliberately set in a multiunit building near First and Albert streets, according the department’s Facebook page. Hann was arrested east of Port Angeles and booked at 8:57 p.m. Sunday into the Clallam County jail. An arson was reported at 8:07 a.m. Saturday at 535 E.
