On Thursday, October 24, friends, family and loved ones will come together to honor the life of Lt. Kirk Dean Robinson. Lt. Robinson passed away on Friday, October 4, after a heroic two-year-long battle with cancer. He was a member of the Bothell Fire Department for 18 years.
At 11:05 a.m., a memorial procession will begin. Approximately 29 fire department apparatus and 50 police department motor vehicles will depart from Pop Keeney Stadium located at 9809 NE 188th St. in Bothell to Overlake Christian Church in Redmond. Units will leave the stadium, head South off Bothell Everett Highway, east onto 185th past Station 42, and proceed onto I405 S. The motorcade will exit off NE 124th St. to Willows Rd. and will arrive at Overlake Christian Church at 11:55 a.m.
Memorial Service 1-4 p.m.at Overlake Christian Church, 9900 Willows Rd. NE, Redmond, WA. The Service will be livestreamed on Bothell Fire Department’s Facebook page.
