Public Information Officer, Ben Shearer, said the fire started around 8 PM at a home near 43rd Way and Sylvester. Pasco Police arrived on scene first and found a home halfway consumed by flames. When firefighters arrived on scene they immediately began an exterior attack. Shearer says the homeowner was the only person inside at the time. He was unharmed.
