Deputies with the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Department say they arrested a man on Sunday in connection with arson of two motorhomes.
The fires happened around 8 a.m. Sunday on Atlantic Avenue in Ocosta, deputies said.
Arriving deputies said they interviewed witnesses at the scene and were able to establish a suspect who was seen in the area at the time of the fires.
Deputies said they later contacted the suspect, a 38-year-old Westport man, who admitted he set the motorhomes on fire because he was upset with the owner.
An investigation team later confirmed the fires were intentionally set, deputies said.
The man was later booked into the Grays Harbor County Jail on investigation of second-degree arson.
