Missing Peoh Point hiker identified as firefighter, crews join in search efforts

The search continues Monday for the missing man out of Cle Elum, authorities have now identified him as a Firefighter. The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office Reports that Marcus Carroll, 24, works for the Snohomish County Fire District 7 and North County Fire & EMS. They say representatives from both agencies are assisting with the search. Search efforts involve the Kittitas County Search and Rescue, King County Search and Rescue, and Kittitas County Fire District 7. At the time of publication, the access road to Peoh Point, Forest Service Road 3350-114, is closed to the public as crews search for Carroll.
