A semi truck burst into flames Friday morning near the Tiger Mountain Summit, blocking State Route 18 in both directions for about an hour, the Washington State Patrol reports. Troopers and firefighters rushed to the scene at about 9 a.m. after receiving reports of a vehicle fire. A semi tractor was fully ablaze when the first units arrived. Crews extinguished the blaze and prevented it from spreading. The semi driver managed to escape and no injuries were reported. All lanes were blocked for about an hour but all had reopened by around 10 a.m.
