PHOTO: A fire at a Christmas tree farm near Auburn is sending clouds of smoke and steam over the area Thursday morning. Firefighters responded to the scene, Pfaff’s Christmas Tree Farm in the 12100 block of SE 292nd Street, at about 4:30 a.m. after receiving 911 calls about the fire. They found that fire had erupted in a large landscaping debris pile. Crews brought the fire under control but said it may take several hours to completely extinguish due to its large size. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
