PHOTOS: A fire at an apartment building in Seattle's Interbay neighborhood sent people fleeing into the street early Monday.
Crews responded to the scene, a three-story apartment building at 2832 14th Avenue West, at around 2:40 a.m. after receiving reports of smoke and flames there.
Firefighters searched the complex, located about a block away from the Interbay Golf Center, and confirmed that everyone made it out alive.
Crews brought the flames under control and said it was a difficult fire to fight because buildings in that area are packed close together on a split-level street. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
