Three Door County Board committees spent several hours last week discussing adding a command level to the county's Emergency Services Department medical responders operation. The department serves two functions: It is tasked with providing medical response and developing plans for dealing with emergencies that are not necessarily medically related. Door County is one of two Wisconsin counties that operate countywide medical response.
