Investigators are trying to determine what sparked a fire Wednesday night at Harter's Quick Clean Up on La Crosse’s North Side. Firefighters found fire and heavy smoke from the building at 2850 Larson St. about 7:30 p.m., according to the La Crosse Fire Department. All employees had safely evacuated. Fire crews extinguished the blaze quickly but remained on scene for three hours.
