A company that started more than 100 years ago building truck bodies on Model T Fords has evolved into one of the world's most respected makers of fire engines-- creating pumpers, aerials, tankers, and rescue units for departments throughout North America.
With more than 30,000 units on the road today many of the fire apparatus you may see on a given day likely came from Pierce. Justin Steinbrinck spent the morning in Fox Crossing going through the creation process works and hearing more about the uniqueness of having a company like this, right here in northeast Wisconsin.
