Concord board addresses fire EMS matters

Mark Flood, fire chief of the Sullivan Volunteer Fire Department, addressed residents of the Town of Concord at the monthly board meeting this week. He explained the operation of the fire department and EMS, along with a presentation and break down of the dollar amount and call volume. The fire department’s calendar fund raising drive is presently underway. The board approved a three year fire/EMS contract with the Sullivan Fire Department, along with a fire/EMS contract with Ixonia Fire Department. There were no zoning requests. Property clean up in the Town of Concord was again addressed. The Concord Center Cruisers Snowmobile Club approached the board with its members input on establishing/erecting a memorial at Concord Park in memory of deceased club members.
